When I first start the engine, the car idles at about 15-1800 RPM. If the car is warmed up and I start it again, it still idles high. After a couple of min. it will slow to a nice idle. Since I never need the car in cold weather what can I do to prevent this high idle?
Thanks,

Would help to know the year of the car, engine size, etc.
I can guarantee you what my '76 would need is vastly different then my buddies '02. _________________ Everybody would still have their 1st car... if it was a '76 Monte!
