I have stock rims on my 87 SS but when I got new tires and had a balance done, I had black marks from old weights. How can I remove that?
I tried chrome wax and Mothers Billet wax with out help. What would someone suggest?
Thanks,

I've never tried it, but maby one of those rubber wheels that fits on a drill for removing stickers from cars. You can get them from a auto paint supply store. _________________

FWIW, I've had good luck with Goo-Gone getting off all kinds of goobage. May also take some rubbing with a clean cloth, though.
