New Accounts, Spam, and Software Update

Post by John W. Harvey » Mon Nov 19, 2012 8:18 pm

To All:

The Discussion Forum was shut down on Friday after a flood of spam registrations and some spam posts hit our boards. I felt that since the software was now failing to stop the spam, it was time to upgrade to the latest version. We will continue to be vigilant in our attempts to keep our boards family friendly and Monte Carlo related.

We apologize for the inconvenience while our forum was down. Hopefully, we can now all enjoy.

For now, I will be manually "activating" all new valid accounts. Thus, if your new registration was not activated for these discussion boards, you can e-mail me directly.

I'm not understanding your question. If you posted this question, you are obviously logged in.... thus, you are a participating member of the forum. If you are talking about being a dues paying member of the NMCOA, that is something entirely different.

George,

Your membership packet was mailed yesterday. Your membership card is included. The membership number is on the envelope and the membership card. With any luck, the U.S. Postal service should have it there by Easter!
